La Dictée P.G.L. is a great educational project designed for all elementary school pupils in French and French immersion classes, from kindergarten to 8th grade, with three fundamental objectives:

- Introduce children to international realities;
- Heighten their environmental awareness and
- Help them increase their mastery of written French.

Through the Cueillette du partage P.G.L., La Dictée P.G.L. provides children with an excellent opportunity to explore and experience first-hand the meaning of solidarity and sharing. And while 5th- and 6th-grade pupils have the opportunity to take part in an international French dictation competition, younger students also have a chance to win prizes at the national level.

La Dictée P.G.L. is much more than a school project. It allows thousands of children throughout the world to go beyond their own cultural borders.
